"La estrella" opens nationwide

Hello everyone! On May 24th my latest movie "La Estrella" will open nationwide "La Estrella", directed by de Alberto Aranda, with Ingrid Rubio and Carmen Machi. Here's a fragment of the movie (guitar played by Pablo Fernández Arrieta):

Nominated for Goya and Gaudí awards

Can't stop smiling,,, We just found out that we've been nominated for best soundtrack in the spanish Goya awards!!! And in the Gaudís awards as well!!! Very, very happy for all the people involved. It is a beautiful way to acknowledge everybody's work!!! And thanks to Tadeo for helping out during the recording in Bratislava!!

Academy Concert

Last October 13th, the RTVE orchestra offered the Cinema Academy Annual Concert. They played several soundtracks, among them, three of mine: Hierro, The Anarchist's wife and Tad the lost explorer. Here's a vide of my part:

Annecy 2012

Tad the lost explorer, in the official selection of one of the most prestigious Animation Festivals in the world!!

Tad, the lost explorer

Just finished mixing the score to Tad, the lost explorer. A really big project for me. It's an animated movie, loaded with adventure, with about 75 minutes of big orchestral music. With lots of action cues and comedy. Álex Martínez, a good good friend of mine, and an amazing composer, helped with the composition. The movie will premiere in Spain on September 7th 2012. We don't have a trailer yet but you can check out some pictures at Tadeo's website.
